As you probably already know, you will need to make sure you do your research and ensure that you address any elephant that may be hiding in the room when changing your uniform policy.

After all, your employees make your business go around. If they are unhappy then they won’t feel inspired to do their jobs properly.

A company uniform can really have a huge impact on this and their input will matter in the long run.

We have written this blog in 2 parts to ensure you get all the info you need to make positive changes to your company uniform policy.

Also, so that you can implement changes in a way that guides your employees into understanding and agreement.

Common uniform complaints - and how to prepare

Here are 3 common complaints in uniform and how to address them. Look out for the next 3 in part 2.

1. The Uniform Is Uncomfortable: Fit And Sizing

One of the first things you will need to ensure when choosing a new uniform is that they have the correct sizes available for each person.

You might want to investigate the probability of incredibly small (XXS) and large (XXXL)sizes to ensure each member of your staff are able to find their right fit. It is also important to ensure fit and fabric is breathable and comfortable.

If you are wondering why comfort matters, then we have written about 3 reasons to consider comfort before you invest in a uniform.

2. The Quality Is Poor

Quality is hugely important when choosing a good uniform.

If your employees are not satisfied with the quality of your choice it might be worth investigating some other fabric options.

If budget is an issue then explain to your employees that there are budget constraints and if you improve quality, they will need to chip in.

Believe it or not, if your staff are aware of the lack of quality, your customers will be as well.

Be sure to incorporate and consider quality in your company uniform. At AJAY, we pride ourselves in offering only the best quality corporate clothing.

3. I Don’t Like It/ Don’t Want To Wear One

When you believe in the importance of a uniform and can explain that to your employees, they might forget that they don’t like something.

When people understand the ‘why,’ then the ‘how’ and the ‘what’ often falls by the wayside.

At AJAY Apparel, we believe in the power of a well rounded and well thought out corporate uniform.
